Description du poste

Responsible for prospection and sales activities of MOLECUBES preclinical imaging solutions (X-Cube, Beta-Cube and Gamma-Cube) under supervision of the VP Sales and Marketing. This position will be addressing the academia, pharmaceutical and biosciences markets internationally, directly or via distribution channels. Candidates must be highly motivated individuals driven by building strong relationship within molecular imaging community, by exceeding annual sales targets and by enabling innovation adoption in a competitive environment.
- Generate leads and product interest during international congresses and symposiums
- Follow up commercially and technically on leads by regular contacts with support of marketing and applications team, due to the global reach of the role this may require some morning and evening calls
- Prospects specific market segments and territories as identified strategically, this activity will be achieved both remotely and by travelling
- Organize site visits in order to qualify leads and ensure sales visibility at worldwide level
- Participate in reference site and on site customer visits as needed as part of tender processes
- Build strong relationships with prospects and distributors/partners throughout sales cycles of 6 to 18 months and over the years accounting for repeat business
- Contribute to distributors training both in Ghent, in reference sites and during congresses
- Present in a professional and enthusiastic manner the company technology and unique selling arguments to an audience of approx. 10 people
- Support sales team in responding to RFPs and tenders
- Develop and maintain accurate CRM input, provide update on a weekly basis and report on a monthly basis
- Keep a special focus on customer satisfaction by providing timely, qualitative and ethical support

Profil recherché

- MS degree with first experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology/medical industry
- Preferably scientific background in biology, physics or engineering and previous exposure to molecular imaging
- Desired first business development or sales experience selling laboratory capital equipment
- Proven prospection skills are critical Energetic, results-driven with excellent self-organization
- Highly effective time management and prioritization skills
- Will be coached by VP Sales and Marketing with support of Product Manager and Applications Specialist
- Team player with ability to work independently and be self-motivated Intercultural mindset, supportive attitude towards customers and partners
- Communication skills to present technology and influence scientific and management decision makers
- Good sense of initiative in entrepreneurial setup Fluent in English, other European languages are an asset
- Willingness up to travel 50% internationally
- Job is based in Ghent, Belgium with some degree of flexibility
