Proximus is the leading telecommunications company in Belgium and a pioneer in
several areas, including fixed-line telephony services, mobile communications services,
broadband data and internet services.
The Architecture, Roadmap and Program Management (ARP) department within the
Technology Division aims at providing Proximus with outstanding programs, projects
and process management capabilities that will allow the company to overachieve its
business objectives and to deliver premium class services to its customers.
As a Project Manager, you will have the responsibility to ensure that technical (IT/Telco)
projects (small at first) are delivered on-time, on-scope and on-budget by using
Proximus’ approach while securing a continuous harmony between the various
stakeholders within the impacted teams.
A job evolution within the department is possible (for example a process architect role in
which you will be responsible for new products’ and services’ design). Thus, the ability
to learn quickly will be the main key for your success.

Most of the ARP projects’ lifecycles derive from the execution of a three years Business
or Technical Program Roadmap. Different domains are covered, such as Mass Market
products, Professional Market (Telco and ICT) services, Fix and Mobile network
evolution, etc ...
The Junior Project Manager Technology will:
Be accountable for delivering his projects in time, on budget and in scope with
the needed quality to ensure a successful launch.
Handle variances on planning, budget and scope.
Respect the governance.
Have a good understanding of the project content to ensure that the scope and
the proposed technical solutions answer the objectives.
Take ownership and challenge the stakeholders when needed.
Efficiently communicate to the key stakeholders in the core team and on the
Identify risks and propose mitigation plans.
Deal with constant changes and adapt easily to changing environments.
Handle multiple projects of a medium complexity simultaneously.
You achieved a Master in a technical domain such as: Science Engineering
(Applied Sciences, Civil Engineering) or Computer Science or Bioscience
Engineering or Industrial Sciences.
You recently graduated or you have acquired a first professional experience.
You are familiar with Office tools (Word, Excel, MS-Project and PowerPoint).
You are mastering the following soft skills: communication (written and verbal),
organising, problem solving, priority setting and building effective teams.
You are a team player and you feel comfortable to interact with cross divisional
teams throughout the company.
You are fluent (spoken and written) in English + Dutch and/or English + French.
